  • 3–4 large tomatoes, chopped (or 1 can diced tomatoes)
  • 10–12 oz (300–350 g) Hungarian sausage (kolbász) or smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1–2 garlic cloves, minced (optional)
  • 1 tsp hot paprika or chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
