- Prep: Wash and trim the green beans, slice the sausage, and dice the potatoes if using.

- Return sausage: Add the sausage back to the pan. Cover and cook for another 7–8 minutes until the beans are tender-crisp (or softer, if you prefer).
- Serve hot: Perfect on its own, or with a slice of crusty bread.
