Meat Lovers Pizza Casserole


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the pasta:
    Boil according to package directions until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook the meat:
    In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Add onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic, then add ground beef and sausage. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add flavor:
    Stir in the pepperoni, pizza sauce, and oregano. Let simmer for 5 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Assemble the casserole:
    In a large bowl or the skillet (if big enough), mix the cooked pasta with the meat sauce. Stir in half the mozzarella.
  6. Layer and top:
    Pour mixture into the baking dish. Top with the rest of the mozzarella, cheddar (if using), and extra pepperoni or toppings.
  7. Bake:
    Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with golden cheese on top.
  8. Serve:
    Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.
