1. Cook the Base
- Heat oil or lard in a large pan.
- Add onions and cook until soft and slightly golden.
- Stir in garlic and cook briefly.
- Remove from heat and add paprika.
2. Add Vegetables
- Add sliced peppers and tomatoes.
- Return to heat and mix well.
3. Add Sausage (Optional)
- Stir in sliced smoked sausage for extra flavor.
4. Simmer
- Cook on medium-low heat for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are soft and stew-like.
5. Season & Serve
- Season with salt, pepper, and a little sugar if needed.
- Serve hot with fresh bread.
