1️⃣ Cook the pasta
- Boil noodles in salted water until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the sausage
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
- Add sausage and cook until browned, breaking it into pieces.
- Remove sausage from the pan and set aside.
3️⃣ Build the flavor
- In the same skillet, add onion and bell peppers.
- Cook for 5–7 minutes until soft and caramelized.
- Add garlic, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning; cook 1 minute.
4️⃣ Add liquids and simmer
- Pour in the white wine, scraping the bottom to release flavor.
- Let it cook 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add diced tomatoes and chicken broth.
- Return sausage to the skillet.
- Simmer for 8–10 minutes to thicken the sauce.
5️⃣ Combine
- Add cooked noodles to the sauce.
- Toss well until everything is coated and glossy.
- Taste and adjust salt/pepper.
6️⃣ Serve
- Top with fresh basil and grated Parmesan.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
