  • 2 cups (480ml) milk
  • ¼ cup (50g) sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Dough:

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk with 1 tsp sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Knead until smooth and elastic (8–10 minutes).
  4. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
