For the Vanilla Sauce: (Optional but delicious!)
- 2 cups (480ml) milk
- ¼ cup (50g) sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Dough:
- In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk with 1 tsp sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Knead until smooth and elastic (8–10 minutes).
- Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
