- 1 small onion, finely grated
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 egg
- 2–3 slices stale bread (or ½ cup breadcrumbs)
- ½ cup milk (for soaking the bread)
- 1 tsp sweet Hungarian paprika 🇭🇺
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
