
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk; let sit 10 minutes until foamy.
- In a bowl mix flour and salt. Add yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg.
- Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Divide dough into portions and roll into triangles.
- Roll each triangle from the wide end to form a crescent shape.
- Place on a baking sheet and brush with egg yolk.
- Bake at 375°F / 190°C for 15–18 minutes until golden.
