Hungarian Garlic Mushrooms (Pirított Gomba)

Ingredients

  • 500 g button mushrooms, cleaned
  • 3 tablespoons oil or butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Optional: a pinch of paprika

Instructions

  1. Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.
  3. Add garlic (and paprika if using) and sauté for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Finish with chopped parsley.
  6. Serve hot as a side dish or appetizer.
