Ingredients

For the pastry:

  • 2 sheets puff pastry (about 250 g each)

For the custard filling:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 50 g butter

For the glaze:

  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp water or lemon juice
