Hungarian Crispy Patties (Fasirt)


👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare the mixture
    In a bowl, combine ground meat, chopped onion, garlic, soaked bread (or breadcrumbs), egg, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well until uniform.
  2. Shape patties
    Take small portions of the mixture and shape into flat oval or round patties.
  3. Heat oil
    Heat a generous amount of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry patties
    Fry patties for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
  5. Drain & serve
    Remove the patties and drain excess oil on paper towels. Serve hot.
