
Instructions:
- Prepare the dough:
- In a bowl, mix flour, ground walnuts, powdered sugar, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter until crumbly.
- Add vanilla extract and knead into a smooth dough.
- Chill:
- Wrap the dough and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes.
- Shape the cookies:
- Take small pieces of dough and roll into short logs.
- Shape into small crescents (like little horns).
- Bake:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place cookies on a lined baking tray.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden (do not overbake).
- Coat:
- While still warm, roll cookies in powdered sugar mixed with vanilla sugar.
- Serve:
- Let cool completely. The cookies become tender and melt-in-your-mouth.
