- Cook the onions:

- Add paprika:
Remove from heat and stir in paprika to avoid burning and bitterness.
- Brown the beef:
Add beef cubes and mix well to coat with the onion-paprika mixture. - Return to heat and cook until the meat releases juices.
- Add flavorings:
Stir in garlic, tomato, green pepper, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer slowly:
Add a small amount of liquid, cover, and cook on low heat for 1.5–2 hours. - Stir occasionally and add liquid as needed—the dish should remain thick and rich, not soupy.
