Instructions:
- Prep the ribs:
Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs. Cut into smaller sections if needed. Season generously with salt and pepper. - Bake or boil (to tenderize):
- Oven method: Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Wrap ribs in foil, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 1½ hours until tender.
- Boil method: Boil ribs in salted water for 25–30 minutes, then drain well.
- Make the honey garlic sauce:
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Stir in honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, ketchup, and ginger. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened. - Coat and bake (or grill):
Brush the ribs generously with the honey garlic sauce.
Place on a foil-lined tray and bake (uncovered) for 25–30 minutes, basting halfway through — or grill them for a few minutes to get a caramelized glaze. - Serve:
Brush with any leftover sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
❤️ Tips:
- For extra flavor, marinate ribs overnight in the sauce before cooking.
- Double the sauce — you’ll want to drizzle it over rice, potatoes, or veggies!
- These taste amazing reheated the next day (if there’s any left 😉).
Would you like me to give you a slow cooker version of these Honey Garlic Ribs too? It makes them fall-off-the-bone tender.
