1. Prep the Potatoes
- Grate the potatoes and squeeze out ALL the excess water using hands or a towel.
(This makes them extra crispy.)
2. Mix the Batter
In a bowl combine:
- Grated potatoes
- Onion
- Egg
- Flour/cornstarch
- Melted butter
- Parsley
- Oregano
- Thyme
- Garlic powder
- Salt & pepper
Mix well until it becomes a sticky mixture.
3. Shape the Patties
Form small patties using your hands or a scoop.
Flatten slightly.
4. Fry Until Golden
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Fry patties 3–4 minutes per side until crispy and beautifully golden.
Drain on a rack or paper towel.
