
Instructions
- Boil potatoes until tender. Peel and mash, then let cool.
- Mix potatoes with egg, salt, and flour to form a soft dough.
- Roll dough on a floured surface and cut into squares.
- Place a plum in the center of each square. Fill plum centers with a little sugar and cinnamon.
- Wrap dough around plums and seal well.
- Boil dumplings in salted water until they float, then cook 3–4 more minutes.
- In a pan, toast breadcrumbs in butter until golden.
- Roll cooked dumplings in toasted breadcrumbs.
- Sprinkle with sugar before serving.
