Galuska – Hungarian Dumplings


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Make the dough:
    In a bowl, mix eggs, salt, and a little water.
  2. Gradually add flour and stir until you get a soft, sticky batter (thicker than pancake batter).

  1. Boil water:
    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

  1. Shape dumplings:
    Using a spoon, knife, or a grater/colander, drop small pieces of dough into the boiling water.

  1. Cook:
    Once dumplings float to the surface (about 2–3 minutes), they are ready.
  2. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.

  1. Optional finish:
    Toss with a little butter or oil to prevent sticking.
