
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or deep sauté pan over medium-high heat.
Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then add to the pan.
Cook 5–6 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Velveeta Mozzarella Garlic Sauce
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
Add Velveeta cubes, stirring until melted and smooth.
Mix in mozzarella and Parmesan until the sauce is creamy and gooey.
Sprinkle in red pepper flakes for a slight kick if desired.
Step 3: Cook the Tortellini in the Sauce
Add uncooked or thawed tortellini directly into the sauce.
Simmer 5–7 minutes (or according to tortellini package instructions) until tender, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Step 4: Combine Chicken & Tortellini
Return cooked chicken to the pan and gently fold into the creamy sauce.
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Step 5: Serve & Garnish
Plate hot and garnish with freshly chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
