Ingredients
- 200 g (7 oz) white chocolate, chopped
- 250 ml (1 cup) heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: berries or grated white chocolate for garnish
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate
Melt white chocolate gently using a double boiler or microwave (short bursts, stirring often).
Let cool until just warm (not hot). - Whip the cream
In a cold bowl, whip the cream with vanilla and salt to soft peaks. - Combine
Fold melted white chocolate gently into the whipped cream in 2–3 additions until smooth and airy. - Chill
Spoon into serving glasses.
Refrigerate at least 1–2 hours to set.
Tips
- Do not overwhip the cream.
- Chocolate must be warm, not hot, to avoid lumps.
- For extra richness, replace 2 tbsp cream with mascarpone.
