
Cottage Cheese Noodles (Túrós Csusza)
Ingredients
- 12 oz (340 g) wide egg noodles
- 2 cups cottage cheese (dry curd or well-drained)
- 3 tbsp butter
- ½ cup sour cream
- Salt, to taste
- Optional: crispy bacon bits
Instructions
- Cook noodles in salted water until tender; drain.
- Toss hot noodles with butter.
- Add cottage cheese and sour cream; mix gently.
- Season with salt.
- Top with bacon if using and serve warm.
