
Instructions
- Assemble the sandwich
- Spread marinara sauce on one or both slices of bread.
- Layer chicken, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Add basil if using.
- Top with the second slice of bread.
- Grill the sandwich
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on the outside of both slices of bread.
- Place sandwich in skillet, pressing gently. Cook 3–4 minutes per side, until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Serve
- Slice in half and serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
