🛒 Ingredients

  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled & grated
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or mix)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2–3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp grated onion (optional but tasty)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Oil, for frying

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prep the Potatoes
    • Grate potatoes and squeeze out as much liquid as possible using a towel.
  2. Mix
    • In a bowl, combine potatoes, cheese, egg, flour, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
    • Mix until it holds together.
  3. Shape
    • Scoop spoonfuls and flatten slightly into small patties.
  4. Fry
    • Heat oil over medium heat.
    • Fry patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve
    • Drain on paper towels.
    • Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
