
Cheesesteak-Style Egg Rolls 🥩🧀🔥
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying (or air-frying)
Instructions
- Cook the filling
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef, season with salt and pepper, cook quickly until browned. Remove.
- In same pan, sauté onion and bell pepper until soft.
- Add garlic, cook 30 seconds.
- Return beef to pan, mix well. Let cool slightly.
- Assemble
- Place an egg roll wrapper like a diamond.
- Add 2–3 tbsp beef mixture and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Fold bottom corner up, fold sides in, roll tightly. Seal edge with water.
- Cook
- Fry: 350°F / 175°C for 3–4 minutes until golden.
- Air Fry: 190°C / 375°F for 8–10 minutes, turning once.
- Serve
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with cheese sauce or garlic mayo.
