🔪 Instructions:
1. Prep the Lobster Tails:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top of each lobster shell lengthwise to the tail.
- Gently loosen the meat from the shell, lift it up, and rest it on top of the shell for a beautiful presentation (this is called “butterflying”).
- Pat the lobster meat dry with paper towels.
2. Make the Garlic Butter:
In a small bowl, mix together:
- Melted butter
- Minced garlic
- Lemon juice
- Lemon zest
- Paprika
- Salt and pepper
Brush half of the mixture generously over the lobster meat.
3. Bake:
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with foil.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, depending on the size, until the meat is opaque and slightly firm to the touch.
- Brush with the remaining garlic butter halfway through baking.
(Tip: For an extra golden top, broil the tails for the last 1–2 minutes — but watch closely so they don’t overcook.)
4. Serve:
- Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges.
- Serve with extra melted butter for dipping.
❤️ Tips for Perfect Lobster:
- Don’t overbake! Lobster turns tough quickly — it’s done when opaque and slightly springy.
- Add a pinch of cayenne or crushed red pepper for a little heat.
- Pair with garlic mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, or buttery rice.
Would you like me to include a grilled version of this recipe too? It gives a smoky, caramelized flavor that’s amazing in summer.
