
Instructions:
1. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. In a small saucepan, combine the apple cider, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring to a simmer and cook until the mixture thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
3. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 4 patties.
4. Smash the patties onto a hot skillet or grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
5. Brush the apple cider glaze onto the burgers during the last minute of cooking.
6. Toast the hamburger buns on the skillet or grill.
7. Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on the bottom buns, topping with bacon slices, and adding any additional toppings you desire.
