🧄 Ingredients:
Meat Filling:
- 1 lb (450g) ground lamb (or beef)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1/2 cup peas (frozen or fresh)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Mashed Potato Topping:
- 2 cups mashed potatoes (from about 1 ½ lbs/700g potatoes)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup milk or cream
- Salt, to taste
- Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for extra flavor!)
