Hungarian “You Have a Soul” Butter Cookies – Don’t Lose This Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 300 g flour
  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Jam or chocolate (optional filling)

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and butter until crumbly.
  2. Add egg yolks and milk, then knead into a smooth dough.
  3. Let the dough rest for 20–30 minutes.
  4. Roll out and cut into shapes.
  5. Place on baking tray.
  6. Bake at 180°C for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
  7. Optional: sandwich with jam or dip in chocolate after cooling.
