Hungarian Apple Dessert – Don’t Lose This Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 5–6 apples (grated or sliced)
  • 100–150 g sugar (to taste)
  • 1–2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1–2 tbsp butter
  • Optional: raisins or chopped walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Peel and grate or slice the apples.
  2. Cook them in a pan with butter.
  3. Add sugar, cinnamon, vanilla sugar, and lemon juice.
  4. Cook until soft and slightly caramelized.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.
  6. Serve warm or cold, on its own or with pastry, pancakes, or cake.
