🇭🇺 Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Töltött káposzta is a classic Hungarian comfort dish made with cabbage leaves stuffed with seasoned meat and rice, simmered in paprika-tomato sauce.

🥣 Ingredients

• 1 large cabbage (or pickled cabbage leaves)
• 500 g ground pork (or mixed pork/beef)
• 100 g rice (uncooked)
• 1 onion (chopped)
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 egg (optional)
• 1 tbsp paprika
• Salt & pepper
• 2 tbsp oil
• 500 ml tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
• 500 ml water or broth
• Optional: smoked sausage pieces
