🧾 Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 400 g all-purpose flour
  • 200 g butter (cold, cubed)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 100 ml sour cream
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt

For the filling:

  • 1 kg apples (peeled and grated)
  • 100–150 g sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs (to absorb moisture)

For topping:

  • Powdered sugar

  1. Prepare the dough:
    In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add butter and rub until crumbly.
  3. Add egg yolks and sour cream, then knead into a smooth dough.
  4. Divide into two parts, wrap, and chill for 30 minutes.

    Grate apples and squeeze out excess juice.
  2. Mix with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.

    Roll out one portion of dough and place it in a greased baking pan.

  4. Roll out the second dough portion and place it over the filling. Seal edges and prick the top with a fork.
