
Hungarian Decadent Chocolate Cake
Ingredients (serves 8–10):
For the cake:
- 200 g (1⅔ cups) all-purpose flour
- 200 g (1 cup) sugar
- 100 g (¾ cup) cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
- 200 ml (¾ cup + 2 tbsp) milk
- 100 ml (½ cup) oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
For the chocolate cream:
- 200 g (7 oz) dark chocolate
- 200 ml (¾ cup) heavy cream
- 50 g (¼ cup) butter
