2. Boil the Dumplings

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Use a spoon, grater, or spaetzle maker to drop small pieces of dough into the water.
  3. Cook until dumplings float to the surface (about 2–3 minutes).

3. Drain

  • Remove with a slotted spoon and drain well.

4. Serve

  • Serve immediately with dishes like chicken paprikash.
  • Optional: toss with a little butter or oil to prevent sticking.
