- 200 g (3/4–1 cup) sour cream
- 1 egg + 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
- 25 g (2 tbsp) fresh yeast (or 7 g active dry yeast)
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) lukewarm milk
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1–1½ tsp salt
- 150 g (1½ cups) grated cheese (cheddar, edam, or trappista-style)
