Ingredients:

For the layers:

  • 2 sheets puff pastry

For the custard filling:

  • 1 liter milk
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 packets vanilla pudding powder (or 60 g cornstarch)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the cream layer (optional):

  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

For topping:

  • Powdered sugar
