Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • Pinch of salt

Walnut Filling:

  • 1 1/2 cups ground walnuts
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Poppy Seed Filling:

  • 1 1/2 cups ground poppy seeds
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Egg Wash:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 egg white
