  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup ground walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C (325°F). Grease and line cake pan.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg yolks with sugar until pale.

  5. Gently fold in egg whites.
  6. Pour into pan and bake 30–40 minutes. Cool completely.
