- 1 cup all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp butter, softened
- Pinch of salt
- 10–12 small plums, pitted
- 10–12 sugar cubes (or 2–3 tbsp sugar mixed with cinnamon)
For the coating:
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2–3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
