
Ingredients
- 400 g flour
- 200 g butter
- 120 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 250–300 g plum or apricot jam
- powdered sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla, and salt.
- Add butter and eggs and knead into a smooth dough.
- Divide dough into two parts.
- Roll out the first half and place in a greased baking pan.
- Spread the jam evenly on top.
- Roll out the second half of dough and place over the jam.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until golden.
- Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar, then cut into squares.
