
Ingredients
- 250 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
- 200 g (¾ cup) butter, softened
- 100 g (½ cup) ground walnuts
- 80 g (⅓ cup) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
For coating
- Powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl mix butter and powdered sugar until creamy.
- Add flour, ground walnuts, vanilla, and salt and mix into a soft dough.
- Take small pieces of dough and roll them into small crescent (half-moon) shapes.
- Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.
- While still warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar.
