Creamy Chicken Stuffed Bread Rolls

🔹 Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 4 cups (500g) all-purpose flour
  • 2¼ tsp (1 packet) instant yeast
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup oil or melted butter
  • 1 egg

For the Filling:

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (or tuna)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise or cream cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

For Brushing:

  • 1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp milk

🔹 Instructions

Step 1: Make the Dough

  1. Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes.
  2. Add egg, oil, salt, and flour.
  3. Knead 8–10 minutes until soft.
  4. Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled.

Step 2: Prepare Filling

  1. Mix chicken, mayo/cream cheese, mozzarella, onion, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  2. Stir until creamy and well combined.

Step 3: Shape the Rolls

  1. Divide dough into equal balls.
  2. Roll each into an oval or rectangle.
  3. Place filling at one end.
  4. Roll tightly into logs.
  5. Place seam-side down on baking tray.

Step 4: Bake

  1. Brush with egg wash.
  2. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
