Hungarian Chocolate Salami (Kekszszalámi)

Ingredients

  • 300 g (10 oz) plain tea biscuits (crushed)
  • 120 g (½ cup) butter (softened)
  • 100 g (½ cup) powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 100 ml (⅓–½ cup) milk
  • 1 tablespoon rum (optional)
  • 50 g (½ cup) chopped nuts (optional)
  • 50 g (⅓ cup) shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

1️⃣ Crush biscuits into small pieces (not too fine).

2️⃣ In a bowl mix butter, powdered sugar, cocoa, milk, and rum until smooth.

3️⃣ Add crushed biscuits and nuts (if using). Mix well.

4️⃣ Spread mixture onto plastic wrap. Shape into a log.

5️⃣ Roll tightly and refrigerate at least 3–4 hours (or overnight).

6️⃣ Slice and serve.
