
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp oil or lard
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp sweet Hungarian paprika
- 4–5 green bell peppers, sliced
- 4 ripe tomatoes, chopped (or 1 can diced tomatoes)
- 200 g smoked sausage, sliced (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 eggs (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pot, sauté onion until soft.
- Remove from heat, stir in paprika.
- Add peppers, tomatoes, and sausage if using.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer uncovered 25–30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Optional: stir in beaten eggs at the end and cook gently until set.
