
Ingredients – Dough:
- 500 g potatoes, peeled and boiled
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
Ingredients – Filling:
- 10–12 small plums
- Sugar cubes or granulated sugar
- Ground cinnamon
Ingredients – Coating:
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp butter
- Powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions:
- Mash potatoes until smooth; let cool.
- Mix in egg, salt, and flour to form a soft dough.
- Pit plums, fill each with sugar and a pinch of cinnamon.
- Divide dough, flatten pieces, wrap around plums, seal well.
- Boil dumplings in salted water until they float, then cook 2–3 more minutes.
- Toast breadcrumbs in butter until golden.
- Roll cooked dumplings in breadcrumbs.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm.
