- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp sweet Hungarian paprika
- 1 cup beef broth
- ½ cup sour cream
Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Pancakes
- Whisk flour, milk, eggs, salt, and oil until smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled pan.
- Pour a thin layer of batter and cook until lightly golden on both sides.
- Set aside.
2️⃣ Prepare the Meat Filling
- Heat oil in a pan, sauté onion until soft.
- Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Add ground meat, cook until browned.
- Stir in paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
3️⃣ Fill the Pancakes
- Place meat filling on one side of each pancake.
- Roll or fold tightly.
4️⃣ Make the Paprika Sauce
- In a saucepan, heat oil or butter.
- Stir in flour and paprika (remove from heat briefly so paprika doesn’t burn).
- Gradually whisk in beef broth.
- Simmer until thickened.
- Stir in sour cream and season with salt.
5️⃣ Assemble & Serve
- Pour sauce over stuffed pancakes.
- Serve warm, optionally with extra sour cream on top.
