
Marble Pound Cake (Chocolate & Vanilla) 🍫🍰
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2½ cups sugar
- 1½ cups butter (softened)
- 5 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp milk (for chocolate batter)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a loaf or bundt pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to batter alternately with milk.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Divide batter into two bowls.
- Mix cocoa powder + 3 tbsp milk into one half.
- Spoon vanilla and chocolate batters alternately into pan.
- Swirl gently with a knife for marble effect.
- Bake 60–70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before slicing.
