
🍞 Super Soft Milk Bread (Fluffy & Cotton Soft)
🛒 Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk (not hot)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp instant yeast
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp butter, soft
- 1 tsp salt
For brushing:
- 1 tbsp melted butter (or milk)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Activate yeast
In a bowl, mix warm milk + sugar + yeast.
Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
2️⃣ Make dough
Add egg, flour, and salt.
Mix, then add butter and knead 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
3️⃣ First rise
Cover and let rise 1 hour or until doubled in size.
4️⃣ Shape
Punch down dough, shape into a loaf or rolls.
Place in greased pan.
5️⃣ Second rise
Cover and rest 30 minutes.
6️⃣ Bake
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden.
7️⃣ Finish
Brush with melted butter and cover with cloth to keep soft.
💡 Tips for EXTRA softness
- Milk must be warm, not hot
- Knead well → fluffy texture
- Cover bread after baking to trap steam
