🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp cumin or Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
  • 6–8 flour tortillas or soft wraps
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp milk (for brushing)
  • Fresh parsley (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the Filling
    • In a pan, cook ground beef with onion until browned.
    • Add garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
    • Cook until flavorful and slightly saucy.
    • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Assemble
    • Lay a tortilla flat.
    • Add beef mixture + generous cheese in the center.
    • Fold sides in and roll tightly (like a burrito).
  3. Prepare for Baking
    • Place wraps seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
    • Brush tops with egg yolk + milk.
    • Drizzle or brush melted butter on top.
  4. Bake
    • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes,
      until golden brown and crispy on top.
  5. Finish
    • Sprinkle parsley if desired.
    • Rest 5 minutes before serving.
