
🥧💛 Grandma’s Sweet Potato Pie – Old-Fashioned & Soul-Warming

🛒 Ingredients
Filling
- 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes (about 2–3 medium, cooked & peeled)
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup evaporated milk
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground ginger (optional)
- ¼ tsp salt
Crust
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Prep Sweet Potatoes
- Boil or bake sweet potatoes until very tender.
- Peel and mash until smooth (no lumps).
- Make the Filling
- In a large bowl, mix sweet potatoes, sugar, butter, and eggs.
- Add evaporated milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
- Mix until creamy and smooth.
- Assemble
- Pour filling into the unbaked pie crust.
- Smooth the top.

- Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 50–60 minutes,
until the center is set and a knife comes out clean.
