Stuffed Peppers Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 bell peppers
  • 1 lb ground beef (or beef & pork mix)
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Optional: chopped parsley

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut tops off peppers, remove seeds, and blanch in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  4. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until browned.
  5. Stir in rice, tomato paste, and half of the tomato sauce.
  6. Stuff mixture into peppers and place in a baking dish.
  7. Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers.
  8. Cover and bake for 45–50 minutes until peppers are tender.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
