
Stuffed Peppers Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 bell peppers
- 1 lb ground beef (or beef & pork mix)
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- Optional: chopped parsley
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut tops off peppers, remove seeds, and blanch in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain.
- Heat oil in a pan, sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until browned.
- Stir in rice, tomato paste, and half of the tomato sauce.
- Stuff mixture into peppers and place in a baking dish.
- Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers.
- Cover and bake for 45–50 minutes until peppers are tender.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
