
Crispy Fried Mushrooms with Cool Ranch Dip
Ingredients (Mushrooms):
- 12 oz mushrooms, cleaned and halved
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Oil, for frying
Ingredients (Cool Ranch Dip):
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ranch seasoning
- 1–2 tbsp milk (optional, for thinning)
Instructions:
- Heat oil to 350°F (180°C).
- Mix flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Coat mushrooms in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
- Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Mix all dip ingredients and chill briefly.
- Serve mushrooms hot with ranch dip.
